After a career as a medical scientist and a former Chair of Governors of a large sixth form college, Richard’s aim as a councillor would be to campaign for public services of the highest quality.

He says; “I strongly believe that schools and colleges need greater support to allow them to provide the high standards of education our children deserve.

"I am also sure that a Labour council will help small businesses and co-operatives to grow the local economy.”
