Russell is a family man with four children, and has lived in the local area for 23 years.

As a gas and oil engineer, Russell would like to see small businesses encouraged to provide more local employment and wealth for the town. He understands the challenges that small businesses face and is committed to supporting them.

Russell enjoys football and would like to see more grassroot activities for all of the community to enjoy. He would actively work with local residents and clubs to achieve this. In his spare time he works with a local soup kitchen, providing hot food and clothing for homeless people.

He says; "I would encourage local authorities to provide and maintain decent, affordable housing and social care facilities for all residents in our society."
