Labour – rebuilding Flitwick for the many, not the few…
Cathrine Jones
Cathrine has lived in Flitwick for 55 years, in the same house, in the same road, and has watched the town grow. She thinks it is time to improve, maintain and make Flitwick a better place for all to live. A trades unionist, Cathrine helps women in the workplace through the GMB Union.
She says; “I believe in honesty and fairness for all, it is how I was brought up. Through my own learning difficulty, I have learnt that we can all achieve and serve our community with help and adjustments. As a councillor I would work for all the residents.”
Tania Malkani
A mother of two and a teacher, Tania has raised her family in Flitwick. They have benefited greatly from local amenities, such as the leisure centre, Flitwick Library, parks and football grounds.
She says; “With family who are in their later years, I appreciate the needs of people who may be less mobile, and fully understand the importance of maintaining local transport services. I would be supporting the maintenance and extension of these amenities and services.”
Dan Toinko
Dan is a Flitwick Town Councillor and a Governor of Templefield Lower School.
He says; “I have lived in Flitwick for several years and have three young children, so I understand the great value of Flitwick's schools, parks and library to our community. As a Borough Councillor I will champion these vital facilities and will work to listen to and empower residents and improve our streets, amenities and environment.”
