SHEFFORD WARD
Labour – rebuilding Shefford for the many, not the few…

Glenda Tizard
Glenda has lived in Shefford for 27 years and, until her recent retirement, managed the advocacy service for Central Bedfordshire. She has been active in local politics and in community life as a town councillor in Arlesey and then in Shefford, and an active campaigner in many local and general elections.
She says; "A school governor for many years, including chair of governors of Shefford Lower School, I am an active volunteer in the community as a member of the Shefford Good Neighbours scheme."

Sheila Woods
As a retired health professional, living in a mixed community with everything from remote farms to housing estates, Sheila is only too well aware of the failings of Central Bedfordshire Council; the pressures on the Health Service, transport, the police and Social Services.
She says; “I am determined that our Council listens to you, its residents, and that Shefford becomes once again, welcoming and fit for purpose, both now and for our children. It would be my honour to represent you.”
